Park Day Optimizer
How does the optimizer work?
The optimizer scores each park for each day based on three factors:
- Crowd levels (50%) — lower crowds = better score
- Hotel proximity (30%) — closer hotel to park = better
- Dining locks (20%) — parks matching your locked dining reservations score better

How is this list generated?
Trip inputs used: trip length (nights), party members (kids vs adults), kid height, hotel type (pool access), park days, water park days, dining reservations (signature / V&A), and whether it's a longer trip (5+ nights).
Quantity logic: Clothing scales with nights (e.g., shirts = nights+2, capped at 12). Snacks/supplies scale with park days. Other items default to 1. If Laundry available is checked, clothing quantities reduce ~40% (min 4 shirts, 3 shorts) since you can wash mid-trip. Laundry pods are swapped for resort laundry detergent.
Shared categories: Room & Resort, Grocery Delivery, Kids - Park, and Kids - Carry-On are marked as shared and only appear on the "Everyone" view, not individual member lists.
Conditional sections: Water park gear (if WP day), signature dining attire (if sig reservation), kids gear (if child in party), grocery delivery (if 5+ nights).
Regenerate rebuilds from current trip data. Items you deleted won't come back. Custom items are preserved.
